Prof. Dr. Christina Ljungberg is a literary and cultural scholar and author with several years of media experience in Swedish and Canadian film and television. She is the coordinator of the Iconicity Research Project (together with Prof. Dr. Olga Fischer, University of Amsterdam) and editor of the series Iconicity in Language and Literature.
Her many books and articles focus mainly on iconicity and intermediality, and the function of maps and photographs in literature and art.
